THE VARIETY/ THE STAFF/CLEANLINESS /FRIENDLINESS
I like that it is more than a place to work out--it is a community. The front staff set the tone upon entrance, especially Bruce and Mitzi. They ensure that each person is seen and noticed. The classes are great. I am especially fond of Dana's classes and Clayton's classes. They build community as we work out. They talk, share, and know the students. It always seems clean in there - even during the construction. That is a large task, given all that comes with working out. Thanks for making it a great experience.
The number & variety of weight machines. The same for the cardio machines. Marcus Miller is an exemplary representative of the YMCA culture. The steam room and sauna are wonderful. I often drive from my home in Clayton to take advantage of everything offered at the Alexander facility.

I really appreciate the work that Marlon and his team have put in to improve the Olds Afterschool experience. My kids enjoy the program and I appreciate that they get the kids outside after school.

Very friendly and positive staff. In particular, the group fitness instructors are exceptional at making people feel welcome and connected/part of the community. One instructor in particular (Matt from Alexander) showed wonderful leadership when he volunteered to match up to $1500 of the funds he raised for the YMCA annual campaign. The community at the Y is very diverse. All ages races and abilities are represented. Overall, a very uplifting experience to go to the Raleigh YMCAs.
I've been a member for 25+ years. I continue to come to the y because of the contacts and friends I've made there.

Friendly good staff timeliness convenience
I love the way it’s always been a part of my family. My oldest played soccer, swam, and eventually became competitive with YODA. I continue to take yoga and use the child care with youngest and am grateful for all of it. I also love that I feel like my membership money goes back into our community.
The facility is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff is highly professional, with Tony being a particular standout. His morning motivation and encouragement have been instrumental in my fitness journey.

It's a nice facility, and I enjoy the group classes. The instructors are good.
The faculty was very nice. Also, the kids zone is great! The staff was amazing with my daughter, who so currently having separation anxiety. Thank you for the supervisor who allowed me to finally get a workout in! I deeply appreciate the help and understanding when taking care of my 12 month old daughter.
It is the Best Place in the Triangle to work out. The staff are friendly, motivating and keep the equipment spotless. Tony keeps the morning crew hyped up to push through their workout!
All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, the facility is beautiful, and I love all of my Pilates, yoga and cardio strength classes. The instructors are top notch!
