Great facility and people

Staff was very friendly knowledgeable my daughter had a great time at swim lessons

The swimming lessons allowed the parents to be in the pool area to observe and not make the lessons so stressful on the children by being removed from parents. The instructors made the lessons fun for the children so that they wanted to return.

We have had the most wonderful experience with the swim lessons provided by Liz and her staff at the Lake YMCA. Our daughter has always felt comfortable and has made such strides in the last three years. Each instructor has treated us with kindness and has given our daughter the confidence to take on new challenges. Our goal was for her to be able to know enough to swim safely and it has become her favorite activity. We couldn’t be more grateful for the skills she has acquired. She can’t wait to be old enough for the swim team.

I frequent all of the YMCA’s in Stark and Summit Counties. Lake Community YMCA by far has the best of everything! The best classes, best instructors, best pool, best indoor walking track. Ok not the best sauna but a good one nonetheless 😁

I have always recommended the lake Community YMCA to neighbors, friends and family and always will. The whole "Y" experience has been very good for my family and me.
The people at the front desk are always very friendly and can always explain in detail, any questions that I may have. As I get close to retirement age, I look forward to spending more time at the "Y".
