Great facility
I have been a member of the Hartville YMCA for several years and I especially enjoy attending the classes at the Hartville YMCA. I also utilize the walking/running track weekly. It is a great addition to the community!
I like the walking around and above the gym the most. I’ve liked walking indoors only when the weather is bad, but your track has two things that make it equal to outdoors. One is the view of the gyms activities that are always fun to watch. Two, walking with others who are trying, like me, to be getting healthier.
I also like the classes of Silver Sneakers. I wish there were more of them each week so when I have to miss some, others would be happening.
One more, in the pool wish. I’ve been going to North Canton for over a year to the Arthritis classes in the shallow water. More than 30 of us have been feeling so much better…..until the filters broke and leaked away our wonderful water.
I think 3 classes a week, mornings, would help Lake’s community members, and me.
My elderly father visited since the pool at his home north canton Y is closed. He loved Lake so much, he’s going to start coming there! He said he got a warm welcome and a grand tour. Thank you!
Angela Smith is an excellent drum fit instructor. Kim Hinkle is an excellent dance fitness instructor. Annika is an excellent Zumba instructor. I enjoy the walking track. Several times during the winter there were unattended children up on the walking track. I am only there in the evening, I am still employed during the day. Many times the floor in studio A is very dirty, weeks go by and the same dust balls and other debris are still on the floor. Many times during fall Kim got a dust pan and broom to sweep the floor before class. It would be very nice to have hand sanitizer and have it refilled up on the walking track. I must use the handrail going up the stairs and it would be nice to use hand sanitizer when I get upstairs.
Wonderful track and basketball courts, with a solid weight room.
Friendly staff, clean environment, the weight machines are well maintained, the walking track is open, airy, and well lit.

Places to work out that are clean. Longest indoor walking path with good folk up there. Fun kids below playing.

The staff is SO friendly at the Lake Y and the faculty is always impeccably clean! I really like the elevated track to run on because I dislike treadmills. The equipment they have in the exercise room is also well maintained and the machines I need for my knee exercises are all there. The classes are fun too!
Mom’s first time at Zumba and felt very welcomed . Desk was very engaging :)
Great facility has quality equipment and a good staff. Parking can be difficult but that’s just do to how popular it is.
I've been enjoying playing pickleball on most days and everyone is very friendly and enjoyable to be with.
