Love the classes and everyone working g there is friendly. The facility is clean
Staff are friendly and very helpful.
From staff to other members everyone has a very positive and caring attitude. One feels welcome always. The place is kept immaculately clean. There are a lot more positive comments that can be said about this place.
I am a new members, but so far I am pleased with my dealings with your staff. Based on that I will begin personal training sessions in a few weeks.

What I like: Location, hours of operation, weight room staff, great trainers, amazing front desk staff, reasonable membership and training fees, cleanliness of facility, welcoming and safe environment, classes available.

La locación de Trumbull tiene una excelente atención, la de Stratford es PÉSIMA la atención. Yo vivo en Stratford pero es lo peor. Yo tenía una mala imagen de YMCA porque yo siempre iba a la de Stratford que es la de mi ciudad. Pero cuando fui a la de Trumbull vi la diferencia. Las personas son más humanas. Una atención al cliente con una sonrisa. Con amabilidad.
Stratford lo peor y conozco muchas personas que no quieren unirse a YMCA por lo mismo de la mala atención de Stratford.
The staff and members are very nice, and they are comfortable to be around. The facility is very clean, the environment is safe, and the conversation with members is congenial.

The flexibility in locations as well as the class offerings.
Its a wonderful facility with fantastic staff who are friendly and welcoming. I always look forward to my visit. I live just several hundred yards from the Fairfield Y but I brave the traffic on 95 to come to Woodruff because it is a much nicer facility and the staff are so much friendlier and helpful. My one critique is that the Men's showers are never cleaned properly. I don't know why since its a source of regular complaints to the front desk, but they seem unable to find a cleaning person that understands how to clean the showers. There is a regular infestation of flies in the showers and the walls of the showers are often caked with old soap scum and other stuff. It is the one off putting issue that Woodruff Y has.
Friendly and welcoming staff
Hours open. The early shut down on Saturdays and Sundays doesn't concur with any other Y. Stratford deserves what other Ys offer, we are not inferior members yet our Y's hours are inferior. It is difficult for church goers to get in a workout on a Sunday with the new hours. There was no community input on the new hours.
Also, the food pantry is not up to Feeding America standards and is unsanitary. Good intentions, bad implementation. Close it and have people go to Sterling House which is nearby.
