I have only been a couple of times, but it is welcoming.
I enjoy that you really see all age groups and types of people there. However my loyalty to the Y is from the 1970s when my all girl high school wouldn’t allow us to play many “masculine” sports so we quietly formed our own high school soccer team thru the Y. Did get in trouble at school later when we did well enough in the YMCA league that year to get mentioned in the local paper wearing our school name, but it was worth it.
We love the environment and swimming for our son. We also love all the weight and work out equipment for ourselves.

Conveniently located; great pool system, especially for seniors with limitations; Sonny is a warm welcoming soul at 0530 hrs; Wendy keeps a very clean facility.
Thr instructors actually give the attention the children need to be successful swimmers.

We have been going to swim lessons at the Lakewood Family YMCA for over a year. They have an excellent swim program and the teachers are great! My son loves swimming with teachers Sage & Alex!

The professionalism and the skill in working with kids of varying abilities.
Lots of different day and time options. Makes it much easier for a single parent. Also, the teachers are fantastic and my daughter really enjoys each class.
The pool is very clean. And the instructors are very patient with the kids .
I enjoy the Water Aerobics classes, I do both classes from 7:30 to 9:15, has been a lot of fun, teachers (Candi and Anne) make working out enjoyable. I also like the machines upstairs.
On Wednesday, my CRV was intentionally scratched, 3-4 scratches and one down both doors on passenger side. I park in the handycap section located in front of entrance. I will park in different location next week, maybe that will help?
That I can be in the same pool while lessons are going on and the water is warm. The instructors have all been good so far and they have days and times for classes that work with our schedule!
The staff
Family atmosphere, water aerobics and stretching. Good variety of classes, machines, etc. Our grandson "grew up" there with different sports and summer day camp. He's 20 now, and still continues to exercise in some form every day.
Clean facility, friendly staff and lots of classes and equipment.

Close to my home. Great variety of classes, exercise equipment and fantastic hours. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Super clean and well maintained.

The Lakewood YMCA is so friendly, warm, and supportive. I also love Y360. You can pull up a fun class at your convenience in your own home.
Staff and members care about the Y and each other. Wonderful place and environment.
