I like the y and I don’t have anything specific to say
I have recently been to four other YMCA's in the area and the Lakewood is the most user friendly and just plain friendly. The staff always say hi and are present and looking over things. I also like the layout a lot better than the other YMCA's that I have visited hat being Gig Harbor, Silverdale and Shelton.
The facility has all types of equipment to use. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I love going to the Y for the Enhance Fitness class. As I am getting older it helps me maintain strength and balance so I can enjoy my retirement.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I recently accidently left my watch in the locker. I returned to look for it, but someone was currently using same locker. I stopped at front desk to check, but it hadn't been turned in. they took the information about the watch and said they would contact me if found. Later the same afternoon I received call that my watch had been turned in as a found item. I was so grateful for the staff at front desk and the person who turned it in.

What a wonderful opportunity for community, health and recreation all rolled into one facility! The faculty are the best and excited to provide a top notch experience from the first step of the journey - the TOUR! The Kickstart program gives individual attention to each person's needs. Then the variety of programs that are offered and times vary throughout the week, so as to fit into the participants schedule.
We love the Y and would share our experience with anyone!
