Going to the Y is part of my daily ritual. I love the challenge of the classes… This instructors are superb. The equipment is five stars and the aqua classes are so much fun. I there is always positive energy. I’ve made a lot of friends, it’s part of my lifestyle. Health is Wealth!

The Y is an inclusive, positive, friendly community in which to grow and thrive in mind, body and spirit. I’ve been active in Y’s for most of my life, and the DFFY is by far the best!
Very clean and friendly gym. I do wish they would send emails when policies change or the large gym is going to be closed. For example when morning pickleball changed to "sign-up only", an email might have been nice instead of players telling one another in the parking lot!
I will be glad when the construction will finally be completed.
The community atmosphere. The multiple program opportunities from group fitness to indoor wellness floor to outdoor swim opportunities.
The friendliness of the staff is one of the best factors. You have some young people, like Emily at the front desk, just as nice and helpful as can be. The administrators, such as Rae, Chris and Deb are top notch!

tHE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT, PEOPLE ARE SUPPORTIVE, CLASSES ARE GREAT.
First, I like the people who work there. There is always a smile and good morning when I arrive and it makes my day start off right. Even though I only use the treadmill and the Nustep, there are a good variety of machines. The facilities are always clean, including the family shower rooms. It's just a great way to start my day!
The muscle up class for kids. Please add more !

Staff and facility are all very welcoming. If we ever venture to other Sun Valley Y’s it is only for sauna, larger pool and varied play scapes otherwise Desert Foothills is perfect.
Its well maintained, fairly priced and it is a 'good cause".

I love the water classes, just wish there were more offerings. Laurie's gentle yoga is my favorite exercise class. She's so fun and I feel so great afterwards
Has everything I need like the gym and pool. People are kind and helpful and the price is fair.
Friendly staff at front desk, nice facilities
Very good but the other morning (sunday) when I came in about 715, all 3 personnel at the desk were just scrolling on their phones. I went around the other side to sign in for group fitness and said, must be something interesting on your phones. 2 of the young girls did put them down. Pet peeve of mine and I usually never complain because I love coming there, but 3 people just looking at their phones and not acknowledging customers looks bad.

Clearly, the facilities are exceptional. But the best think going for our Y is the staff. A truly dynamic group of individuals that care and make exercise fun. Plus their willingness to explain the equipment and routines is truly appreciated.
