Referees were better this year
The volunteer coaches are great, my kids have grown from being on a team.
The Staff was professional and efficient. I am a member at the Lake Highlands Branch and visited the Richardson Branch with my nephew to play racquetball, a very pleasant experience!

They have everything I need: Les Mills classes, decent equipment, and some branches have pickleball (though I wish they all did).
Friendly staff and members, good equipment and plenty of it, great classes, clean facility, convenient hours to exercise, ample parking spaces.
Only improvement I would like to see is more use of the pool. It’s only used in summer months, and then main use is children’s lessons, which is wonderful. But, I don’t understand why water aerobics classes are not offered for adults. It’s a wonderful exercise for all, especially seniors! Please consider adding! Thanks!
I enjoy that my child gets to play games with their friends and learn the basics of the sports. I like the fact that the organization supports christian beliefs and good sportsmanship.

THE Y IS SO CONVENIENT FOR ME AND I CAN BE FLEXIBLE IN TIMES I ATTEND. HAVE LOTS OF FRIENDS IN MY CLASSES AND KNOW IT IS A PLACE I FEEL SAFE AND LOVED!
The refs are great fir the little kids.
The Y has been a favorite of me and my kids for over 20 years. From kids sports, to adventure guides and now this old man working out in a friendly non judgmental space. Great spot for all.
Everything! Very welcoming, clean and safe environment. Excellent instructors & Trainers. Friendly and helpful front desk workers. Lots of good group classes with variable schedules.

Mostly good instructors, some play music so loud you can hear down the hall and then their mic instructions aren't clear. Lends one to believe they may work for a hearing aid company!
Staff is always welcoming helpful, smiling and often remembering names, will miss Jordan.
Base boards are missing in the gym. Someone has recently started to eat sunflower seeds and left hulls on bleachers and floor.
Sidewalk separations are appearing, lifts also creating trip hazards!
The availability to various sports, the close proximity for games, but most of all the flexibility to being able to play multiple sports in a season.
The sports staff at the Richardson YMCA is great! They are very friendly, communicative, responsive and do a great job trying to wrangle all the schedules and appease all the coaches and parents. My kids have been playing sports at the Richardson Y for almost 10 years and the experience with the staff has been stellar for the last couple years.
I really enjoy the fundamentals of the sports experience at YMCA. The referees are extremely kind and explain things to the kids and are encouraging as well. It's just a pleasure to see everyone playing well with one another

I like the instructor in the fitness class I'm in. She's the best. Also,I've gotten to know many in the group and that makes it even more positive. It's worth coming a little further out to exercise to be in such an enthusiastic bunch.
