I like that it's part of the community, and that we see our neighbors daily
Everyone I encountered were welcoming and had a smile.

Nothing was too crowded.
We love love the whole package. The staff is great and the equipment and facilities are very well maintained. My wife enjoys the yoga classes. I appreciate recent upgrades to the fitness equipment. Thanks for all you do.

Friendly staff, pleasant family friendly environment.
Class options, equipment, and facilities
Gym was very clean, spacious and staff were friendly. Pool was excellent! Shower facilities had everything I needed.
There was no hot water yesterday and it was so cold! I believe good care should be taken with these details. The scales in the women's lock still does not work. The one on the floor is always dirty and does not convert lb into kg.
The teachers and staff are all fantastic!!
We love the Y! The sports teams move so quickly to "club" the Y is a nice way to ease into things! The one complaint parents of young children complain of is the "picking" of teams. It becomes a socially engineered or athletically engineered experience for lots of people, which just leaves a sour taste in most people's mouth.
One solution could be to remove the "list a friend or coach" option on all teams, and announce before each season a blanket policy of a blind draw each season, no matter the age or sport. Every family has access to club sports, and most do the Y merely to meet people at their elementary school. To make the Y fun and stress free for the young families could be so refreshing for our community!
We were on the receiving end of socially engineered teams, and my experience is not unique. Many of the boy families feel the athletic engineering. It would have been nice if we signed up trusting it is a blind draw, and I know other families feel the same.
Parents also like to complain about the scheduling snaffus - I think maybe just some earlier communication and reminder that this is supposed to be fun and casual could temper the Park Citiies parents expectations!
We love the Y for so many reasons! Thank you for your consideration!
Thank you for your consideration!
The Moody Y is great for classes and individual workouts. Everyone is friendly. The instructors are excellent. I do wish a STEP class was offered since instructors who teach at Moody teach STEP at other Ys. I'm at the Y at least 6 days a week. It's great having a local gym/workout facility. Also, I like having covered parking.
The variety of classes offered and the quality of the instructors; cleanliness of the facility
Underground parking garage makes it easy. Location is convenient.
All good

AOA classes!
