I love my gym membership at the Moody Family YMCA! The people and atmosphere create such a welcoming and positive environment—it always feels great to work out here. Everyone is so friendly, the whole place is clean as a whistle, plenty of machines, clean and cared for bathrooms, two pools, Lots of trainers to choose from, close to home, children's sports teams, many classes to choose from.
I enjoy the aqua fitness classes. Everyone at the Y is friendly and helpful. It's a community asset.

Exercising in the neighborhood!!
Nice community feeling at the YMCA. Can get a great workout in and relax a minute if you want. Gym is CLEAN :) The child watch is convenient for me. I also LOVE supporting a business that employees teens/adults with "special needs" aka different life experiences that don't deem them incapable!
I have noticed a [somewhat extreme] lack of enthusiasm from some child watch employees. Almost as if they didn't sign up to interact with kids.... still evaluating what I think ab that...
Would be good to install an automatic remote lock on child watch door so person behind desk could remotely unlock it for parents vs having to send someone to the door. I can tell that it wears on them and it is an easy, relatively inexpensive, fix.
Would be cool if y'all invested in a couple of high end massage chairs that members could use... How do ya'll fund stuff? Just budget? Do yall do fund raisers? Is there a board?
Another way to easily elevate the vibe at the Y would be making the locker room more comfortable and accommodating.
Lastly I want to use one of the reformer machines that the Y owns outside of class-- am I able to?

The coaching and camaraderie have been excellent.
As always, I enjoy visiting the Moody Family YMCA the most because the club is kept very clean, and the staff is very upbeat and positive. Thanks for allowing me to share my opinion.
the classes with bodypump
I wish they would keep the lap pool just a degree or two warmer. It's nice when the weather outside is below freezing, but otherwise it's usually just a bit too chilly!
