Friendly face at the desk.
I came to the Y after losing a job and a membership at a different fitness club. It was a huge change and I was heartbroken. The y has welcomed me. The Lowell location is small but so incredibly nice. I wish it had a hot tub or sauna, but it's been a safe haven in this time of transition for my family.
I wish the Y as an organization would open up the hours for kidzone to all day hours. That 1-3pm timeframe is a big time killer as a parent and I would love to go then! I think letting their kidzone staff bring their kids with would be a huge way to get staff in door! I know that model can work, as I have lived it elsewhere. It create a loyalty you just can't buy.
The team at litehouse is warm, inviting and kind and the kid zone staff know my kids already and it feels like home.
An outdoor pool somewhere would be awesome!

Need to replace shower curtain to full length in one of the accessible bathrooms. Also add another shower curtain in the accessible shower inside ladies room. Current one does not give full privacy.
The staff are warm and helpful The building is clean and well maintained. The classes are great and the instructors are welcoming. It’s a very welcoming environment. I’m so thankful it’s here in Lowell.

Everyone always has a smile
The people at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful. The classes are well attended and the leaders are always helpful and patient. The equipment is in good operating order and , depending on the time of day, there are plenty of machines to use.
Staff is amazing, and facilities are great! My only recommendation is longer hours on the weekend lol.

It's a very nice community oriented organization. Very friendly people and an enjoyable experience visiting there. I plan to stop in again from time to time.

Litehouse is a great gym for my family and I to call home! The staff are always friendly and it has a communal atmosphere that I really enjoy, it feels like a tight-knit community every time I go. They have several classes and programs to take advantage of, my kids love the Tae Kwan Do classes and the association-wide membership allows us swimming privileges in the winter which is a huge plus.
The gym is well-kept, clean and organized. Patrons are respectful of their surroundings and I always have a positive experience. It does miss some key pieces of equipment (a proper, free weight leg press for example) and the free weights area can get cramped from time to time. I would love to see the hours expanded, especially on Fridays and weekends (to include the KidZone), but these are relatively minor critiques. Overall a lovely facility and experience!
We love the childcare staff at this location! I always know my child is in great hands when leaving him here and he always has so much fun playing and socializing with other kids. The staff is incredible. The parents night out program was well put together and my son had so much fun.

I love the positive energy at our Y. Everyone is so welcoming. I also love the Fitness for Life and the Cardio Dance classes.
The staff are welcoming and kind, the building is comfortable, clean, and in general a nice place to be. The Litehouse Family YMCA does an excellent job.
