It is nice to be welcomed by staff. It is kept clean. I only use the lap pool and like Alison’s water class at 6 pm. I am at y during afternoons not as busy.
I like the staff, the people, and the equipment.
The front desk staff greats you with a smile and wishes you a "have a good day or night" when you leave. It's also a great place to run into others you may know or make new acquaintances.

The instructors are fantastic. Angie Shannon Jennifer Kris Farrah Marie teach the classes that I attend. Each instructor are encouraging and show examples to modify if needed. I love the family atmosphere of the Visser Y. In the 16 years that I have attended I have made so many special friends. It is money well spent. My coworkers are amazed at the energy that I have at 71. I give credit to a healthy lifestyle and my work outs at the Y.

The management at Visser Y is very friendly. They create a welcoming atmosphere where a person wants to be.
I am happy to be a member because the Y promotes wellness, friendship and a place to exercise at all ages and levels. The front desk is a friendly place and the facilities are clean. I have been going since my children were in the kid zone and now my grandchildren play there too! They do great work with kids in the community through camps, sports, summer play days…and date nights!

You guys are great! My kids love using the basketball court & pool. I like using the free weights which are never crowded. It’s awesome that you have an area for prayerful study & Bibles available. Keep up the good work!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, (always greeted when arriving and leaving), great class options, workout machines fit my needs, hours of operation fit most lifestyles, childcare available for those in need

I wish people would shower before using the pool as the signs state, and not wear street clothes in the pool. The family pool yesterday was so cloudy. It's esp. unpleasant to see large/obese men with long hair and beards walk into the pool in street clothes without showering. Yuck.

Friendly staff but broken equipment takes way too long to be fixed. I would appreciate lengthening hours to 10pm during the week and 7pm on Saturdays and towel service being reintroduced. Thank you.
Love the classes. I wish they had one more step class a week in the morning. An advanced step class would be cool.

The size of baseball rec in prek is way too large. It seems EVERY coach I have watched struggles (even with assistance). Even 1 more team would have helped maybe two. Also your coordinator who also did basketball classes is seems to be unprepared or late a lot. We have had days where no equipment show up, the metals were late just last week, and multiple days when we were doing basketball that he showed up almost 40 minutes late a few times. So while I give Visser YMCA nine, I give the kids leagues in classes about a six. Being a stay at home mom I have the ability to have flex with my schedule but there were several families there that would have to leave only having half a class or only getting portion of their kids play time at league. Especially at the leagues because you have to worry about the games going overtime when the games are so close together in time perhaps they should be separated by 15 minutes just some thoughts to improve it for next time.

Very nice pools ! Well managed and clean ! Hot tubs and steam bath well managed and clean. Pool hours fit my schedule. Friendly front desk !
