My wife and I visit all 5 G.R. area Y's regularly and have Wolverine at #1 Some of the reasons are, building layout, clean everywhere, many windows, an abundance of equipment without problems, large deep pool, elevated track, close parking, easy check in and spacious lobby with seating. This is a great facility that is very well run.
Wolverine Worldwide YMCA is definitely family friendly! My kids and grandkids are also members. I appreciate the variety of classes and activities that can bridge three generations of "athletes". The staff is incredible and skilled, as well as friendly and encouraging. The facility and equipment is well maintained and clean.
Our YMCA is a gathering place for our community of family and friends. The coffee corner is an added perk, and the childcare workers are amazing. Love it!

I really enjoy having such a clean, bright, safe facility for working out. The friendly staff is also a plus. I am a lifetime member of the YMCA, starting as a boy and now 66 years old.
The kids zone is great and our kids really enjoy their time when we are working out.
I love all the varying workouts I can do but also the friendliness of the staff and also the other people they’re exercising. Everyone notices if you miss a week or two, everyone just encouraging ! It is a social time for me as well as a real benefit health wise!! Thank you ~

Downfalls are limited parking on evenings and weekends. Towels are no longer available and this is soooo inconvenient!!!!! Please bring towels back!

As a mom, the YMCA allows me to train at elite level performance in my sport because of the childcare at KidZone. The whole family enjoys the YMCA and it brings out the best in us.
