Always friendly staff. They are always attentive and respectful to mentally and physically challenged guests.Very clean. Kidzone staff is incredible: kids are loved and engaged the entire time parents are using facilities. You NEVER see staff on phones, because they’re always adding value. You always feel welcome!

I really enjoy going to the SpartanNash Y. I've met some great friends through the Y.
However, I really wish the group fitness room was kept at a cooler temperature. So often it's very warm before class begins and by the end of class it's unbearable. I've done classes at the Wolverine Y and the group fitness room is so much more comfortable.
The facility is excellent. Always clean and has enough weight training options that, even when busy, you can get your workout done. The staff is friendly and welcoming and helpful. My personal trainer has a wealth of experience in training and nutrition and is completely supportive of and responsive to my fitness goals. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive and inspiring.

My child learns the fundamentals of basketball and soccer. He also enjoys interaction with the other kids.
Is there a way that swimmers can get into the pool area after morning swim class ? We are forced to wait in the pool lobby which is extremely cold - we are greeted rudely by the instructor and class - the class is over and they like to talk which takes awhile for the class to leave - it’s our turn to get in
The coaches do a wonderful job keeping the kids engaged and explaining things perfectly for their age group! I am very impressed and will continue to sign up for the soccer programs at the y!

The pool and hot tub are wonderful. Kathleen and Barbara do a great job with their respective classes: water aerobics and stretch, flex and balance.

Miss Rachel is great! Even though the class is large, she makes time to go around to each student to help with skills. I can already see an improvement in my daughter's skills and confidence after two lessons.
Convenient location in Byron Center. Great swimming pool downtown. Mornings aren’t too busy allowing me to use the track and equipment without a long wait.

Nice gym. Nice staff. Good equipment. Most people that workout at the Y are serious about getting into shape. I would like to see some signage addressing the use of cell phones while working out. Most people jump on equipment and then immediately play on their phone. COMMON MAN!

The Spartan Nash Y is a great place to get healthy! The staff is wonderful and facilities operational and clean.
I love everything about Spartan Nash! It has the best layout of the local Y's, in my opinion. It still feels like a small, local gym...while having all the perks of a big gym. The pool, hot tub, sauna, separate yet slightly integrated fitness areas. The flow is just phenomenal - and it just feels "comfortable". The staff is always pleasant and super helpful - but leave you alone if you don't need them.
Love the open pickleball family connections. But wish day pass to bring a guest was not so expensive.
I am SO glad the Spartan Nash has gotten some awesome people, especially Miss Siera in the Kidszone. In the past my kids have not enjoyed going to due to staff not seeming to be very friendly or like they want to be there at all. We were there Friday, April 26, about noon until 2 and Miss Siera and the other woman in the Kidszone were so kind and seemed actually excited for my son to be in the zone and he loved being there. We love Miss Siera at the Grandville location as well, she is truly an asset.
