It’s just a nice laid back atmosphere. Young, old and in between all get along well.
The pool and locker room is assessable for my husband that’s in a wheelchair.
My doctors have recommended that I swim in a pool to help my exercise, since both knees are bone on bone.
I have really enjoyed coming and using the pool and whirlpool, the staff has been most friendly and the facility is first rate.

Pool layout is great and locker rooms are nice. I like the walking track and bike equipment.
Visited Spartan when Visser was closed for cleaning. Clean facilities and the pool was fairly clean, was a nice visit for 2 weeks. Spartan has really improved

I like going to the Spartan Nash 'Y'. The people there are friendly. The facility is well maintained, it's never so overly busy I can't get to do what I want to do in a adequate length of time. They offer things like trials with the trainers at a lower price. Which I made use of this summer because I am doing a half marathon with Team World Vision. I was starting from a place of sedentary habits after back injury and had to learn how to change that. Trish was wonderful and I got some good ideas from her and things to do to prepare myself for the for the ever-increasing training walks. Ths app is great for scheduling the pool classes! Kathleen is a great instructor.

I'd suggest changing the soap in the shower. The shampoo/body wash do not foam.

When I lived in Michigan, I used to be a regular member to this YMCA. When I come home to visit, I always buy a week pass. I love this gym because of the cleanliness, the equipment, the layout, and the size of the gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is awesome. I love visiting home and coming to the Spartan Nash YMCA.
