I enjoy the variety of classes.
Love the pool and the exercise equipment. The Y is a Montclair institution. The mens locker room could be cleaner, particularly someone can wipe out the lockers when they are empty and use a mop on the floor during the day. The mens locker room can get smellly.
The Montclair Y is an indispensable institution to the town, and it extremely well run and regularly works to improve the equipment and facilities for members

The people who work at the YMCA are dedicated to their work. Not just the “exercise” people but the front desk as well. Especially the time I got really dizzy and the fitness instructor left the room and contacted the ambulance, etc.

Clean lockers and pleasant staff
The pool is great ! Steam room and sauna are soothing and “spa” relaxation.

I love the "Y" and have been a member there since 1980 . I like it because of it's eclectic membership including people from all walks of life in race, religion, and anything else you can think of. Also, all the staff are very friendly , accommodating , and helpful. Simply put, the Montclair "Y" is great.
The only thing I would address is the period of time it takes to get the men's and women's steam
room into operation. The reason were told is "the part is on order" ,.... so I think it would be a good idea to order more than 1 of the same part if in fact that is the problematic part that on occasion needs replacement.
I short,...... I highly recommend the Montclair "YMCA".
