awesome swim hours
The staff really care about the kids and helping them be all that they can be
We just joined and tried pickleball and enjoy walking the track. Looking forward to enjoying the Y.
My kids don't want to leave. Lots of physical activities.
Staff is professional, friendly and takes great care of our daughter. Extremely convenient pickup and drop off. Staff keeps kids engaged and busy with crafts, activities and kids are able to be outside on playground whenever weather allows.
My son loves the morning activities
Great facility
I go to exercise and socialize because it's a wonderful way to meet others. I missed the Y while I spent some of June and July at Upstate's Traum Unit after a terrible fall from a ladder. EMTs compared it to a 50 mile per hour car crash with no air bags!!! Everything on my right side from the waist up to my head was either broken or fractured. Also, a punctured right lung, which makes the simplest of chores look like I had a full workout at the Y. After much PT and walking around the neighborhood, I have finally made it back to the Y in which I've been a member for decades. I have a long journey ahead of me (Upstate's Concussion Center for cognitive, speech and body balance activities) but I'm glad to be slowly back at the Y. If you happen to see me, please say hello. That one word can make strangers new friends.
Staff and members are friendly. It is an inclusive environment.
The running track is all I ever use and mostly enjoy the solitude on weekend mornings
The Northwest YMCA covers all of the bases: they have a vast variety of classes from yoga to pottery, helpful, pleasant staff who are always available and consistently responsive to requests, a lending library, child care, family and children's activities, virtual classes, but, perhaps the most amazing thing is the beauty of the physical space. From the cozy fireplace-lit lobby to the huge pool complex and loft track high above the bustle of the downstairs athletic complex, it gives me a wonderful feeling of joy every time I go.
Great facility, very nice staff.
It’s hours, staff is helpful, facility is constantly being cleaned.
Bright and clean, friendly staff. Lot's of choices for exercise.
I love the aquatic center with the co Ed sauna and steam room. I enjoy taking the water walking exercise classes there.
It’s so clean and well maintained! And the staff are all so friendly.
I love the classes but see less on the weekends..why is that??
On your website the times of classes are in a gray font and very difficult to read ( for older eyes) Please put all in black font for easier viewing. I have made mistakes on arrival times because it is hard to distingush.
Thank you!
Love the pickleball !!!!!
The facility is beautiful and well maintained. It offers a nice variety of programs for people of all ages.
Friendly staff
excellent facility
always immaculately clean
I recently joined the Northeast YMCA because of the opportunity to play pickleball. I have met so many nice people during the morning sessions (4 days a week) and o Wednesday evening pickleball sessions.
While this is not my branch I go there often since the north area no longer offers a variety of classes. It is a great branch with lots of offerings and employees friendly and helpful. If it were closer I would probably go even more often.
Group classes, adult activities like book club and crochet group.
Staff is great! Friendly and professional.
I love the Y. I can exercise, the pool is amazing. I meet lots of people. the employees are awesome, always ready to help with a smile.
The YMCA promotes a family friendly environment. It is clean and well maintained. NW YMCA offers a lot of fitness classes at all levels. After participating in the Y triathlon groups for years, I decided this year I was going to focus on strengthening my bones. At 65 years old I have been diagnosed with Osteopenia (precursor to Osteoporosis) for over 10 years. In February I joined the Y-Fit program and I’m happy to report my latest bone scan in September showed an improvement in bone density. The Y-Fit program was a great option for me because I was struggling to find strength training classes that I enjoyed 3x a week (I would even go to the North YMCA). And the classes that I enjoyed were very popular, which meant I really had to get there 10+ minutes early to get the weights that were right me. In the Y-Fit small group setting we all work together to challenge each other. The personal trainers have been awesome, both Mike and Jess provide form corrections to ensure the proper muscles are being worked during the exercise (group trainers don’t do personal corrections). When I joined the group I never thought I would participate five days a week. My goal is three times a week and I love that flexibility. I also like that I know where and when my fitness class is every day of the week.
I am very grateful to have such a great facility in Baldwinsville. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They keep the facility clean and the equipment updated/up to par. As for me the eveing yoga and Friday morning classes are great. For my husband, the pool schedule provides lots of times to swim in the lanes.
The people are wonderful and the facilities are always clean. There are many activities for all ages.
personally, I like the indoor track, It is a very nice facility,

I like the offering of classes.
