Great class on growing microgreens. I'd use the Manlius Y more, but the sauna is never working properly so I go to the Fayetteville Y.

So much variety
One of my favorite things in the pool area is the Lazy River. I have a condition called Fibromyalgia which causes extreme Muscle Pain and Fatigue. Being in the Water and moving provides exercise without effecting the joints. Sometimes I can try to get into the Therapy Pool if it’s not too crowded. I’m just getting back into exercise again and want to try other workout options. Also this YMCA has so much to offer, and I thank you for that.
If they could have the Lazy River open more, that would be to my advantage.
Less staff seating at the front desk and more staff keeping the locker rooms and the showers areas clean would be nice.
The NW area Y has ALL the features for getting healthy and staying healthy in a positive and welcoming environment. The NW Y offers social, emotional and physical health and enjoyment for everyone!

The facility is clean and welcoming and offers a huge variety of activities. The water classes are excellent and Instructors are amazing. Everyone is friendly and supportive. This is truly a great community.

It’s senior friendly! But what is extremely disappointing are the new treadmills, which don’t allow easy tv access, most times no access at all. And the cardio room is very dirty. Machines are covered with dust and grime and carpet needs to be vacuumed. Inside of elevator doors are covered with some kind of grime. It never used to be like this. Very disappointing!

Friendly staff. E-Gym. Free coffee. (Need to do the free coffee on the weekends) Lots of programs to choose from.
I like the variety of adult classes- both exercise and art and the instructors are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. All the areas are spacious and bright. Having the option to walk on a treadmill or on the track is great.

Hal Welsh East Area YMCA is a great facility to workout and join classes for exercises as well as for education like art classes and other hobbies. It has a wonderful social atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a great sense of community here. I highly recommend it.
