Member Testimonials
I have been associated with the "Y" since 1955 as a: member learning how to swim, life guard, day camp consular, and swimming instructor. Now I encourage my grand kids leverage the Y for them selve.
Friendly staff. I’ve been attending a deep water aerobics class for 17 years and I’ve made friends and connections. I look forward to the classes every week.
We love the classes and meeting new people.
I love the Y- I feel like I’m supporting an organization that does good in the community, not a mega corporation. The new cardio equipment is really nice- and there’s enough equipment for weights too. My biggest complaint is the woman’s locker room is in rough shape. Not enough benches- the floor is old and crusty- and half the time the lockers can’t properly lock.
My exercise classes and the friendly atmosphere.
Very friendly staff.
I like that Stephanie is ALWAYS there to open the pool on time! I like that Tom Jones greets me by name in the fitness center.
I do think that the Y needs to work on cleanliness. The women's locker room is often dirty even first thing in the morning. There are dead flies on the shower walls for weeks at a time.
The people are friendly and it is a very short distance from me.
It has much to offer check it out if interested in your long term health….
Employees and the place is wonderfully taken care of
I love the staff and the friendly atmosphere. They are so helpful. I enjoy the therapy pool and the instructors. The perks are great, too. In the morning they have perked coffee and tea available and a fireplace to sit near. And there is plenty of parking, too.
Friendly and responsive staff, Excellant aquatic center. Very good excercise equipment, and layout.
Nice, clean, friendly employees always at this location.
There’s a lot of equipment, so you usually don’t have to wait. There’s many classes a person can participate in. The pools are very good. The building is clean. Thank You.
The friendly people and very nice environment
many programs to take advantage of
Appreciate the Indoor track and the early hours available. Excellent local facility with ample parking
Nice facility, always clean, nice showers, well-maintained machines and friendly staff.
Multiple options for work out choices
The staff at this location (and every location, this is just the one we frequent) are incredibly kind, patient, and dedicated to inclusion. They frequently go above and beyond to support members with disabilities and different fitness levels.
That I can come at just about any time of the day or evening, workout in the manner I choose and that my grandchildren and their parents (are members) are also able to use the facility for child care, family time, and preschool. Those are the thins that I like best.
ALso - friendly staff!
The pristine facilities and friendly staff that treats you like family,
I love all the front desk employees, they’re always willing to help and listen.
I’m addicted to the egym as I’m sure many others are also.
Wish they would double up the machines so we don’t have to wait so long on busy days, and would love if the sign was still up about wiping down machines especially during flu season.
I have made many friends at the Y and it’s a place I can let my troubles go for the time I spend there. Thank you all the employees for their hard work! You are appreciated.
Always clean, staff always pleasant and appear to take pride in the cleanliness and maintenance of the building. Equipment is rarely down and generally quickly returned to service.
Because it is less crowded then Fayetteville for the EGYM. The only thing that I would also communicate is the Manlius Y need more parking space and more space for the EGYM and cardio machines (more machines would be nice too).
Great variety of programs and love the exercise upgrades with eGym
Facilities are vast and clean
It’s convenient and clean
Great programs, friendly staff, clean building!!
Great aquatic area with many exercise programs. They have a nice walking track and a good workout area

When I walk into the Y there is a diversity of ages in people attending the facility. I like feeling apart of a community that embraces that range.
