Location and cleanliness of facility
They are accepting of everyone. Good classes, pool, helpful staff at desk to answer questions.
I mostly swim laps. The pool hours for lap swimming are posted on the web site and I rarely have to wait for a lane to free up. Get my swim in, then sit in the steam room for a few minutes, and feel great for the rest of the day.
I love the track to walk/run.
I liked the pool, the staff, and the calm atmosphere.
I like playing pickleball there. I wish there were hours for it on Saturday.

Facilities clean
It’s a great environment, very clean and classes are awesome.
I like how the teachers of the group exercise classes are always welcoming to new people, and especially to people who only come to their classes infrequently. Great job!
The staff is always friendly and helpful. They know us by name, always respond to our questions and requests and make us feel welcome.

I work at the downtown ymca and meant a lot of good people and friends there I would recommend the ymca to anyone. After I retired I been spending the last 6 volunteering and I love ❤️ it I spent 43 and a half years working at the downtown ymca and have a proclamation from the mayor and have a day name after me Bob Petrillo community recognition day Dec. 19 th. I wouldn't go anywhere else but the ymca it's been my entire life.
The front desk people are helpful and cordial when I call in to verify that there are lap lanes available before coming in.
However, on the flip side, this information is not consistent, either on the web site or on posted signs, unless I do call the front desk.
The group exercise schedule has something every day that brings me to the gym.

First time visiting Downtown location. Beautiful place! Beautiful building. I was greeted kindly & was able to ask questions. I was able to see the facilities. It could not be a better "set up" esp w the track. So happy I came Downtown!

I am a senior citizen and I love the Y. I worked at North Y from 2010 to 2014 and loved it.
Still looking to either volunteer to encourage senior health or be hired again to support health
fitness, wellness, mental health and love of self. These are the elements that promote a long and
productive life.
