A lot of cardio options, good weight facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff and I rarely have to wait for a machine.

The Y has a wide variety of classes for all ages and abilities. The equipment is up to date and well maintained. It is a welcoming and comfortable place to work out.
I like the weight room and the Cardio room.
I also appreciate the individual training that I have received (John Milstead). He has now helped me to recover from two hip replacements, and a hernia operation in the past 3 years.
Finally, I like the swimming pool - great exercise for those of us who cannot handle impact of running.
Really enjoy the pool. Also love Nancy’s yoga classes and Rachel is outstanding for an intense strength/aerobics workout. Also enjoy using various equipment for a personal workout. The facility is well-maintained, staff is pleasant and towel service is very good.
Adventure Guides
I like the large variety of class choices and schedule. I can always find something interesting to fit in with my exercise goals, even working with an injury this past year. The instructors and fitness coaches are so kind and caring. The facility is always clean and it’s a very comfortable place to be. I love the coffee/tea service during the week and many times our yoga group hangs out in the lobby afterwards to visit. The Y really makes an effort to make your experience a connection with your community. I appreciate everyone who works and volunteers here so much!

Pool and gym

Megan and sarah in the kids club are awesome. They genuinely care about me and my girls, and I am so thankful that I can work out in peace knowing my girls are well taken care of.
The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They’ll hold my baby if they see me struggling with my hands full and they always greet us with a smile.
Also, Rachel is the best group exercise instructor. I love the energy and community she brings to her classes. She remembers everyone’s names and something about each person. She pushes you when she knows you’re not giving your all, but she also knows when you need to scale an exercise.
My only complaint is that it’s a little pricey to be a member, but at this point in my life with 2 young kids, I don’t really have a choice but to pay for it because the kids club is so great.
We love the E-gym, pool treadmills and bikes.

The Southwest YMCA truly has a community feeling to it. As a regular attendee at this branch, it naturally feels most relaxing especially with its welcoming staff including Yasmin, Tania, Toby and many more team members.

the availability of options allows flexibility in my schedule. courtesy/friendliness of employees is always a plus. cleanliness of facility is generally good.
