I like the pools, the jacuzzi and the variety of machines for stretching and exercise ,I like that you can go with your children because children can have their own activities too. I also like the classes of sumba . I like everything. I believe there is plenty of stuff to do and there is no way you can get bored.vI love YMCA

Larry makes everyone feel welcome and worth his time.
Kids club staff is most important factor to me because I had not so good experience. Ny kids ages 3 and 2 years old were crying as soon as we approached the YMCA Club and I actually stopped my membership. However, the YMCA staff was so nice and changed the child carers, I really like new ones at YMCA Palo Alto. My kids are suddenly happy to stay at kids club:)
Other than that, the building is always clean and the front desk and gym staff are friendly. I love to use the Sauna. It would be nice if they had children ballet in Palo Alto facility as they do in Mountain View.
My husband and I are grateful for the Parkinson exercise class with Larry and Carolyn. It is the only one offered in the area. The exercise is important as well as the socialization.
good exercise classes especially morning bodypump. gym area also good. generally I like the philosophy which is open accepting and supportive for all, very inclusive.

I’m in love with the new egym machines and also really like the all day every day lap swim hours.
Good balance of types of group exercise, having the option for a personal trainer, and all the great equipment in the weight room. Group instructors are informative, welcoming, and inclusive.
I love the Y I’ve been a member since 1995. What I like best is the diversity the PAY has.

I like the indoor pool, hotub, and sauna. Its the facility i use it the most and greatly appreciate access to it.
Sports equipment is always in working condition, and if they need to be fixed, it takes relatively little time.
All classes are taught by professional trainers.
The only wish I have for the swimmimg pools - to be desinfected not with the chloride.

I would like to see the staff at Gym on the weekend.
There was some accident - an old man fell from the machine, and someone stays one machine for over 30 minutes - but no one could handle it at the time.
I have a friend that took courses and spoke very highly about the exceptional education and continued support.
