I really get so much out of the Y. I only ever go to the gym, sometimes take my boys to the pool. But going to the gym almost daily is an easy, friendly, encouraging environment. Jamar is a wonderful presence to that end. I can't believe how many faces he can track, is always positive, keeping things bright and encouraging. Amazing. I wish I was better at tracking names, as the front desk folks are always so welcoming and kind (and greet me by name!). Really just can't say enough good things about the Y. Thank you so much for welcoming and fostering a great family and individual environment.--Name removed, EPA
I don’t really have idea about the programs the YMCA has. What I know is that YMCA is amazing helpful for families in need! I’ll try get more involve in the programs to give a honest opinion! YMCA is very important for our community. Thank you so much for the help we get! 💝👨👩👦👦🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The pool is the best one in all of the Silicon Valley YMCA's.
The people working there are friendly & parking is easy.
I like to exercise on my own, and appreciate the equipment and the outdoor pool. People are generally very friendly. I really really appreciated that you kept the Pool open during the pandemic and you kept the outdoor weights available for so long. Thank you!
I use the pool at least 4 times a week and for the most part, I love it. I have only one suggestion (complaint ;-) ) It is very disruptive when other swimmers play their music loud; one man actually uses speakers, and especially when the lifeguards play their music from the lifeguard station. I may be an old codger but, in my opinion, music should not be shared with the whole pool. Thank you!
Miss tati and Bertha at the child watch are phenomenal. They take amazing care of my kids and I'm so happy this service is offered! It really makes my time at the y.

There is something for everyone...
Fun vibe. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Did right by me during COVID (by holding outdoor classes), for which I'll always be deeply thankful.

New basketball league 9-12:
The coaches are great. I also love that it’s three coaches at a time - great ratio and lots of face-time with the coach.
I love that this league was free of charge as it’s the most equitable way of doing it. Once you start charging, please explicitly advertise the free and reduced fee pathway.
The only comment for improvement: there was no welcome email until after the league had started. Other providers send those ahead of time, and people are used to that.

Good service and clean facility
I like the outdoor swimming pool.
East Palo Alto has the best YMCA swimming pool in the area. It has wide lanes, a very good temperature for lap swimming (too warm at some other YMCA's), clean water, and friendly lifeguards.
Best lop pool in the association.
Wish it was open more.
