We like the facilities. Very family oriented. However, the cut back on hours of operation is very offensive, especially on Sundays, when a visit to the pool or gym is needed.

The outdoor pool is the main reason why I visit Central YMCA. I appreciate the numerous availability of lap swim hours.

I am so likely to tell someone about the Central YMCA that my son who is looking for a gym is coming in tomorrow to check it out:) I tell everyone how much I like Central.

I love the people. Your staff is very caring and welcoming. I love the exercise equipment being outside by the pool. I love my Monday am yoga, Thursday pm Body Flow and Friday Zumba.

I love the sauna, pool and hot tub! And the fact that there is in door and out door swimming.

I like the picnic areas around the gym. And I love that it’s a family place. All ages, genders, races, ethnicities and socio-economic status seem welcomed!

If I was to make low cost changes , I would paint the hallways from the locker room to pool etc white, (or some bright light tone) paint the weight room white and add more mirrors to make it feel more open. (Same with upstairs) And I would paint empowering quotes, paint fun colorful art on walls, add posters and spruce up bulletin boards.

Also, I love when there is music in the pool area but that doesn’t always happen.

I love the Central ymca!! It’s been a friendly place to me as new comer in town!

I loved the schedule of classes before Covid. I loved that flexible and ability to have choices. Now it’s just a few classes per week, mid-day. I would really like to go more often

The classes are approachable and not full of people who are super fit workout people. Instuctors are generally normal people I feel comfortable with.

I love the yoga classes. I also love that the folks who use the Y are a great mix of cultures, of big and little folks. The staff are GREAT! The moderators for the classes are also FABULOUS. I love the Y.

I really enjoy using the Indoor pool. I am very much looking forward to it being open on Mondays and Fridays mornings.

I also really like the Land Fitness class. I wish it was not offered at 10am as I often can't make that time, but when I am able to it is really great.

I like the Les Mills, Circuit, and TRX classes. The weight room in the Central Y is a bit small and can get crowded, but I'm glad people are respectful.

My 12 yo son loves the summer programs.
