I love the kids clubs at Central and El Camino YMCAs. The workers there are so good with my boys and they always have a lot of fun! I am so grateful to get a bit of “me time” alone for my workouts!

I love that EVERYONE is invited to use the Y. I find the facilities are well maintained and wide ranging.
- the swim teacher are more structured with the lessons and attentive to students.

Coach Andy is amazing! All the basketball staff for kid’s basketball are really great. We have been coming for multiple seasons and will continue to do so

There ratio instructor to students is very functional. My kid had improved her swimming skills because her instructor has the opportunity to see her and tech her.

We have been going to the Central YMCA (off Alameda in San Jose) since 2014. We love the programs offered for kids sports and camps. Our 2 daughters have both done basketball and swimming here. We love Andy and his staff. You can tell they really care about the kids and their families. They get to know the kids' names and take the time to coach and teach them. They also make the activities fun which we appreciate. One time, Andy bought snacks for our team at the last minute because the family that was supposed to bring it did not show up. I thought that was really sweet of him to make sure the kids didn't miss out. We appreciate the staff very much at Central Y.
It’s an awesome program that has taught our girls so much about basketball, ball handling, confidence on the court. The coaches are phenomenal. We’ve participated with our programs in the Bay Area, but this is the best by far! Incredible!
I absolutely love the YMCA. The only reason I didn’t give a rating of 10/10 is that the outdoor pool remains consistently overheated. I am a lap swimmer and use the facilities multiple times weekly. I was told that the pool heating parameters would be held between 80 and 82°F. However, the pool when measured is consistently at 84°F. There is already an indoor pool that is heated sufficiently for anyone who wants to swim in warm water. I do hope this can be rectified.
I enjoy Gigi and Al's CORE classes, Amy and Al's Spinning classes, and Michael's Body Balance class. They are so great.

Our boys love to participate in the Central YMCA basketball league this fall. It gives them such a wonderful opportunity to play on a team recreationally, make friends, and develop new skills. Beyond grateful for this offering. Andy is beyond amazing too - extremely customer focused, incredibly knowledgable and always great to talk to. Wish there was more of him in this world!!! Sports programs at the Central YMCA are run with compassion and care while being welcoming to more experienced young athletes as well as beginners. Andy Garcia organizes a fun youth basketball program.
The instructional side of the Y basketball—where coaches and referees teach during games. The values are important—sportsmanship and trying again. Great program!
I like yin yoga, the hot tub and sauna. Also there is a pool always available. There are treadmills outside and in the weight machine rooms.
Love the group classes
I enjoy the availability of the facility to the general public and the space that the central YMCA has for its’ members.
