Lots of choices, although I would like to see another class or two of water fitness in the outdoor pool as the weather gets nicer.

Great selection of classes, great teachers
I do not participate in any programs or activities. I like the Y because it is family and health focused. It's members are there for their health and nothing else. There's no posturing, no ego's, no bro and sister movement. Just mind your business and get to work at your own pace.
The staff and facility emulate positivity, kindness, helpfulness and a be strong and healthy attitude.
We just became members at this location. So far so good. My daughter is enjoying the kids area while I work out.

The staff is welcoming. Love the variety of courses. The locker rooms are clean. Would like to see one more aqua fitness class on Wednesday since that class is so crowded. How about one on Mondays?

Pool and workout instructors are a big hit.
Afternoon water fitness and water Zumba classes are available. And water fitness every weekday morning.
The Central YMCA has the best indoor swimming pool around the Bay with 9 feet depth and a nice new outdoor pool for kids.
I wish the inside pool has a regular schedule, open everyday from Monday to Friday.
I have been with this YMCA thru 3 generations, me, my daughter and my 2 grandchildren, I love the place.

Swimming in the warm water, I love heated pools
I have been a member for over 30 years. As I a cancer survivor I am grateful to be able to get to the Y for regular exercise. I am also extremely grateful to the staff. They work hard to keep the machines operable and to lend a hand whenever I have a question or. need assistance.

Love the Sr. Fitness & land fitness classes. Instructors awesome. Shawn the trainer is awesome. Erica, Camille & Kristi awesome instructors.

I especially enjoy the group exercise classes. My personal favorites are Land Fitness with Erica, Aqua Fitness with Beth (I enjoy the 6:15 Aqua classes with Sarah but don't often get going that early...maybe in summer when it is warmer & light at that hour!) and also enjoy Gentle Yoga with Amy.
I am getting great benefit from personal training sessions with Susan -her encouragement, instructions and personalized programs are a big inspiration and as a senior person I feel safe in understanding using the equipment and exercises to feel better and improve my fitness.
Jill at the front desk continues to make me feel welcome. She is a gem!
I feel very fortunate to have moved to the Rose Garden Neighborhood and have easy access to the YMCA (I usually walk) and appreciate that the YMCA continuously focuses community building.
