The staff, the facilities, the offerings
I LOVE 24-7. I use this always- even during normal hours. It is an environment I enjoy because it is much quieter and I don't like to work out in front of a bunch of people. lol
I love the staff - they ALWAYS greet us every-time we check in. This is so important. And they usually say goodbye too!
I love the options of lockers, the sauna and steam room.
Suggestions: If possible - in the women's rest room -PLEASE TURN DOWN the heat - it is so hot in there. When you shower, you sweat getting dressed. I have asked up front, and do commonly hear complaints from the women in this area. I know it may be difficult due to the pool, can they open the small windows with fans to let fresh cool air in. THIS WOULD BE SO WELCOMED!
Also, can you leave a remote to change channels in the 24-7 when after hours?
Will you consider bringing towels back - I would even pay a small fee to have fresh towels to shower, I always forget to bring one.
I LOVE "our" Y. I workout at least 5-6 days per week. I won't buy workout equipment at home because the environment is motivating. I have been on a consistent work out streak since January 2022. I have never felt better, and I look forward to hitting the gym. It is a great way to start a day or end your day. I see so many different people trying to get healthy, and it has kept me encouraged to continue with staying fit. Thank you for everything you do for our community!

Friendly, clean, well-equipped.
I have found the staff to be polite, friendly and helpful. The same goes for other members, everyone seems to accommodating and easygoing. Having a wide variety of workout options is great, in addition to the indoor track for year round use.

I like the facilities and their availability. I use the 24/7 weight room, the pool amd the track.
I only use the pool in water aerobics but I love it!

I love the Bay City Y! My favorite is the 24 hour area. The only thing I would love to see changed is policing of the children on the treadmills/weight area. I don't want to see them get hurt.
Nice to see workers at front desk, they bring a smile, and Joe the custodian kind and patient, lazy river 👍, staff at pool awesome 👍, steam room open 👍, .etc........

5 pm is a great time for work/gym/dinner then time for family and hobbies.

The Dow Bay Area Family YMCA is a beautiful facility that is extremely well maintained. The staff is very helpful and conscientious. There is something for everyone to do at our YMCA, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

The Y provides good for the brain and body. The staff and members are enjoyable to be with.
People are so friendly and the facility is very clean.
The staff is great. I love all the programs offered and how they match up well with Kidzone. Without Kidzone, I would not be able to enjoy my membership at the Y. The pools and waterslide are very nice. I love that they offer classes outdoors too.

The Y has a 24hr access which allows me the freedom to workout any hour of the day. It is a clean environment and very family friendly.
The facilities are clean and up-to-date. Plenty of space for everyone exercising.

The 24-7 room is the most absolute reason we have a membership.
We love the pool area and the hot tub. We also enjoy the gym/fitness area
The best part as a woman is the hot tub and the steam room. Those 2 amenities alone pay for themselves. The kids love the pool area, all around best YMCA
