I love the friendly staff and how they welcome you into the Y. For the most part the people that work out at the Y are very cordial. The facilities are clean and there is always something going on. I also like that they promote Bible studies at their facilities because I was part of the original YMCA.

Only problem is window glare for the tons of pickleball players. The Y was built before the army of pickleballers stormed the gym. We need to work on a simple solution like tint the middle bay of windows without disturbing the walkers view on the track!
It’s a family! I’ve been to many YMCAs in my travels and this one is simply the best. It’s always clean, the staff and members are always pleasant, there’s so much offered to us, and the community involvement is unmatched! I’ve met some of my closest friends in our classes. It’s truly not JUST a gym.
I like everything about the YMCA
I walk on the track. It is nice and warm at the Y on these cold winter days. The people working at the YMCA are very friendly.
I love the facility. It is so clean! The staff is so nice. I primarily go to the pool exercise classes in the morning and the people that attend all appreciate the Aquatic staff. The classes are so popular that sometimes the pool is too crowded, but we figure it out. I am glad more sessions have been added.
I brought my grandchildren to the Y to swim and I wish there could be a number of free passes for grandchildren on Saturdays, just like there is for Bring a Friend Fridays.

I love all the different classes that are offered!! How clean everything is!! That the steam room and sauna are right in the women’s locker room no sharing with the men!
I like being able to workout while my daughter and grandkids swim.

Clean, friendly, and well ran facility that offers many sports, as well as all the workout equipment anyone could want. The CEO walks the floor and visits with members giving DOW YMCA a hometown feel.

I like all of the resources available. There's plenty of classes and a variety of well kept equipment and sports areas. It's definitely a friendly place and well worth the money.
I love being a Bay Area YMCA member! I joined for the close proximity to my home, but the modern facility, well maintained equipment, friendly staff (many of whom are now personal friends), cleanliness and afforability ensure I recommend memberships to all my friends!
I love buying day passes for out of town clients who are here to explore Bay City- after they settle in to their new homes, most have joined, also!
