Cece was great and very meticulous about getting my hair and brows exactly the way I wanted them. I felt that she listened and understood what I wanted, and appreciated that she wasn't afraid to ask questions or offer suggestions in order for me to have a better experience. As a non-binary person, going to a solid, conscientious technician like Cece made me feel like I was definitely getting the miracle experience of finding a person who just GOT my hair and my aesthetic.

Josie is the Best

Since I moved back to Texas a year ago, this is hands down the best barber shop I have been to. The haircut was the best I have had as well.

The workers are genuinely good humans and very down to Earth (Josie!!!! & Ashley!), Service is very efficient, and those two are most definitely qualified for their jobs (unlike many people and places). They’re able to answer any questions you may have, will hear you out entirely (& ask questions the entire way through to make sure you get what you’re asking for and are comfortable), and they’re willing (and able) to go back and ‘fix’ whatever you ‘don’t like’ at the end, if anything (for lack of better terms). I’ve been coming here for about 5 years, and I’ve never had a bad experience, very efficient service that always leads to a better day!! I’d also like to note that I’ve only gone to Ashley one time (and next time Josie’s booked again I will be returning, lol), yet the first time ever touching my hair, without having any experience with my texture or (SO MANY and such difficult) cowlicks, it turned out great. I never go out of my comfort zone when it comes to leaving barbershops or trying new stylists if my comfort barber is booked (lol), but I am so glad that I did and found these two (I won’t go anywhere else unless they do)! I never have to ask for touch ups unless I realize I want it shorter than I asked for, in case my earlier comments came off as them making frequent mistakes but being able to fix them, lol.

My barber is friendly and takes my haircut preferences seriously. I really enjoy getting my hair cut at Floyd’s.

We love Josie! I have been taking my boys to her for several years now and I love how she interacts with them, remembers how they like their hair, she gives my youngest tips on how to manage his curls and she gives my middle kiddo feedback on how to cut his hair. She will always ask them about each other depending on which one she has in her chair. She is always quick and their hair always looks great. We are moving soon and still plan on making the 40 min drive to get their hair cut by her.
