The environment of the shop felt very accepting and welcoming environment, but in a way that felt practical, genuine, and not condescending.

I appreciated how accommodating but direct the staff was. When I had car trouble, and called to let them know I was running late, I appreciate the clarity of their communication with me. It was clear that they would work with me as best they could, but also that they respected the schedules of their clients. I believe I spoke with an individual named Sparrow (but I was in the car, and had some trouble hearing over road noise). Don’t know if they were the one working the front desk when I came in, but same goes for them.

While it would have been unfortunate if the delay had meant I couldn’t take my appointment, I truly appreciated the frankness and clarity of communication.

When Avi worked with me, they were amazingly fast and I loved how it turned out. When there was a section of hair with a decision to make (as in do we cut that section, or let it grow out and blend with the rest) I felt like I still had time to discuss and space to make the decision. I appreciated that we could move the services around to make sure that I got the haircut, and yet when we still had time, we did the shampoo and massage after the styling. I was ready to cover it without the service since I was late, but when there was time, they did it anyway, even though it meant reapplying products after.

I also appreciated the conversation we had. It was just very relaxed and comfortable, with the perfect amount of small talk.

Overall, I had a great experience and will probably be coming back again.

Julia S is awesome! My 11 year old son has had long for 5 years and decided he wanted to get it cut shorter to a mid-length cut like Tom Holland has. She nailed it for him based off some looking at some internet image snapshots he brought to show her.

Now he only wants Julia to his hair in the future.
