I always like getting a haircut at Floyd's 99 Barbershop. The stylists and receptionist staff are friendly and your stylists are well-trained and I walk away with a good standard "Floyd's" short haircut which, although short, is not too short. I think it's becoming with respect to looking neat in the back and the stylist also does a good job of cutting it in layers (sort of feathering it like the layers of soft feathers on the wing of a small sparrow or finch.) It ends up looking good on the sides, the front of my hair and on top - and my hair sometimes seems to have a mind of its own!

I sometimes get compliments on my hair after I've gotten a hair cut at Floyd's and, on occasion, people have even asked me who does my hair. I typically brag about the nice people at Floyd's!

i noticed a few years ago that Floyd's 99 Barbershop may charge a few dollars (but not much more) than the local Hair Cuttery, but I think this hair salon does a better job of training their people. I also like one of the conditioner type of products that Floyd's 99 sells (smells like mint) since it does a great job of conditioning my hair and rinses out nice and clean. It makes my hair easy to comb out without tangles and I think is good for my hair.

Finally, I like the fact that I can walk from my home to the local Floyd's 99 Barbershop and, when necessary, get a hair cut and then go run other errands to the drug store, grocery store, etc., if I need to before walking home. So, it's a good value overall - Floyd's, although they charge a bit more than the Hair Cuttery, this hair salon charges way less than some other comparable ladies' hair salons close to my home that charge at least 10 to 20 dollars more for just a routine hair cut!

Thus, Floyd's is a great value, I always get a good cut and it's also conveniently located near where I live.
