I typically go to the Columbia location and see Kathy. I recalled that Kathy works in Ellicott City from time to time. So, booked an appointment with her there.
As always Kathy is engaging, remembers prior conversations and makes things engaging. She’s amazing.
I was not feeling the vibe at the EC store. It just didn’t feel the same. The layout of the store seemed off and the decor and lighting weren’t as on point as Columbia. Would suggest it needs some attention.

The staff was awesome. Very friendly, came over while I was waiting and asked if I needed anything.

My stylists Kathy was awesome. She was almost like a therapist. I will definitely be back.

The woman who cut my son’s hair was wonderful. She is patient and very good with teens. My son is 13 years old and she was very good with him and gave him a great cut!

Lynn T in the Ellicott city MD location is the reason we come to Floyd’s. I bring my 10 year old son with me each time and we both get haircuts. It’s really fun and Lynn is very kind, generous, and great to talk to. She also gives great haircuts. She spends a lot of time with each customer and doesn’t rush. She is very good with kids as well and my son really enjoys his experience there. The shop is very clean, the workstations are comfortable, and the supplies and products are all great. If you want a great haircut in the Ellicott city MD area, look no further.

Kash, at the Ellicott City location, is awesome! I’ve never gotten so many compliments on a haircut. She also does a fantastic job trimming my beard - basically changed my whole look.

Lynn was kind, soft spoken, paced the cut like I was the only person around. She shared insights to life and allowed me to consult with her regarding the style of the cut and the beard style that is good for me. I was very pleased with my first time and I’ll definitely be a returning client!
