I LOVE the texture powder. Unlike pastes and gels, it does not leave your hair looking shiny. I only see Cathy K at Floyds. About 2 years ago, I went into the Columbia shop not knowing what hairstyle I wanted, so I asked Cathy to do whatever she wanted. Still to this day, I get the same haircut/ hairstyle. It is such a nice place! Everyone is so friendly!
I love being able to come and relax and meet with Cathy. She is so wonderful and it is a great time for me to decompress.
The stylist I went to was so warm and inviting. She listened to my needs and wants and made the experience so amazing. All the other staff were very pleasant and professional as well. My stylist was Emmi H. She is by far the best stylist I have ever been too.
I was quite happy with my haircut. And the shoulder massage at the end is always welcome :)
Products are of good quality. I like several of them, and they are not pushed in your face.. just displayed and used during service for the customer to get a feel for them. The service is prompt, the staff are friendly, the haircuts are good and who doesn’t love a scalp massage… just sayin.

Tessa is the reason I come in. In all the barbers around town that I’ve tried, she has been the only one who has given me what I’ve asked for and stayed consistent. The environment she creates is pleasant and rounds out the experience. What can I say, the whole building is amazing. Ms. Kathy runs a great crew. I don’t see any faults.

Everyone is always welcoming and excited about their work. It’s sometimes hard for me to find a place that doesn’t look at me funny for coming to a barbershop when I’m a woman. And I’ve never had any problem here! I’ve always felt super welcome and never out of place.
