Even though Floyd’s prices are a bit higher, and your location a bit more inconvenient, I can give Ara the best possible rating and recommendation—- she’s friendly, understands completely what cut I want , and has a delightful demeanor and sense of humor! Getting my hair done by her leaves me with a great experience!!!!

Attention to detail and taking time to understand the requirements is a rare stuff and they have quite surprisingly adhered to his requirements.

I am the kind of person that will only go to a stylist that cuts my hair the way I like it. I had only 1 other stylist before that I only went to; when I worked at Sears Headquarters in Hoffman Estates before 2005. And then after a massive layoff at Sears in 2005, I went to a well known hair salon in Chicago and Thea cut my hair.
Since then, Thea had been cutting my hair for many years even when she worked for another place in Evanston. She listens to what I want and always leaves my hair the way I like it. But when covid happened I lost touch with Thea for over 5 years?
In that time I tried numerous other places and different stylists in Chicago and the numerous suburbs, and I was not happy with anyone. I live in both Chicago and Bartlett. I tell them that I don't want my hair short, and they cut it too short. Or they left my hair uneven. Or it just did not look good.
When I found out that Thea worked at Floyd's in Evanston I made an appointment online. I came all the way from Bartlett, going into Chicago and Evanston via Metra trains. For the first time in 5 years I am very very happy with my haircut!!!! She is still the best stylist I've known, and I know I am not the only person that feels that way. In the past I tried making appointments with Thea but could not get the times I wanted because she was booked solid. I am now a loyal customer of Floyd's because of Thea. And I love that I can book an appointment online!!! Thank you Floyd's!!!
