Excellent personnel and facilities
The weight floor is so nice. I love the locker rooms and I feel more comfortable showering and getting ready there than the traditional style locker rooms. To have my own private space is nice. Also I don’t like having my own lock so I prefer the code lockers at this Y. It’s a staple in my routine now.

I like the fact that I can work out on various machines at a time convenient to me. The staff is friendly and the facilities clean.

I like that there are many different programs from different age groups, different interest groups. I also like that it is easy to register for the classes even if you come on the same day as long as it is a place you can just register the desk if you like for people who cannot plan ahead every step for a week that that is a big plus making a very easy to slip in a bit of exercise into a very busy day. Apart from programs and of yoga my favorite part at the YMCA in Westfield is the swimming pool and the schedule that is available online and makes it easy for me to find. When can I do a lap swimming? When is there a lifeguard available and there are their classes and that is what I may need during my time there. I would also like to pointout that the staff at the ascensionWestfield YMCA is extremely friendly and helpful, and I have always felt very well taken care of.

I spend 100% of my time in water aerobics classes, and I thoroughly enjoy them. Your instructors are personable, knowledgeable and fun, and the classes are filled with friendly people too!
