I'm 73 yrs old with diagnosed OsteoArthritis, also have balance issues, so exercise for me is in the water.
Due to a crazy accident last August, I'm now in the process of strengthening my left lower exteremity. Just started sessions with an instuctor to work on that issue. Many of the exercises in physical Therapy was hurting my back. However any of the exercises from PT, that I have been attending for the past 6 mo that could be adadapted tp water were.
I was allow in the water one month post accident to water walk in chest high water.
per the surgeomThe hardest part was getting to the water. I called ahead and had assistance the first 3-4 x in Octember '21, The water crew are the best. My water buddies have also ooffer help and given help when needed. Truly a family.!!

We loved Ms. Vicki! She was patient with the little kids and remembered all of their names, even though we only saw her 4 times. She was good at keeping them on task and engaging each one. The drills she taught were easy to replicate at home, but also great skill-building activities.

THE YMCA is very family-oriented. We love it there!
More open swim time would be nice.
