I am particularly involved in the AOA Water Aerobics class led by Linda! Linda is a wonderful teacher and definitely keeps us all moving at a great pace. Not seen the likes of her since Jan Sharp.
Location is close to home. Something for everyone.
If you are an older adult, you need to do this. I joined last February and the change in my overall health is amazing. I do water aerobics and it is truly amazing what this can do for you. There are too many advantages to name them all. Just do it!
The YMCA has a nice indoor pool. We love to take the whole family.
Not gotten back into swim exercise, but did enjoy it so much before. Plan joining later on after working on machines for a few months.
Learning and using different machines at this time, so far terrific.
Do so enjoy meeting all types of individuals.
Eventually I will try other events offered.

Knowledgeable people and willing to help
we are using the water pool and hot tub the most. They are on a pretty strigent schedule so not able to go as much as I am needing to go. Also I have granddaughter living with me and she is not allowed to be on my plan. so I am not allowed to even take her to the day care room per the employees at the YMCA unles I pay fo that service, that prohibits me from going as often as I need to.
An friendly group atmosphere.
I like the variety of programs offered to all ages. I am semi retired and it seems most programs offered to seniors are early morning. Would be nice if some programs for seniors were @ 6:00 pm.

I like the facility and the workout machines are great very well kept and usually in operating. A certain hours are a little crowded but still manageable to get in a workout.

There is something for everyone when it comes to exercising.
There are not enough leg machines - especially compared to the number of arm machines throughout the facility. Also, we need more 4-lane swim time.
I like that you have water aerobics. I do wish you hadn't changed the Older Adult class rom MWF to T/Th.

I USE THE LAP POOL AND CARDIO AND WIEGHT MACHINES WEEKLY AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE AVAILABILITY OF BOTH. THE RECEPTION STAFF IS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.

My daughter loves the positive reinforcement during lessons. Great instructional ratio of kids to teachers.
Always availability for machines. Kept very clean.

Being a senior, I like the senior sneaker classes. I also have invested in a trainer, so I help it helps my aging body to be more limber and strong!
The directors have been very helpful and accommodating, and our kids clearly love the lessons each week that they go.
I only partake of a trainer; Cindy Marshall is the most competent person at what she does.
The swim instructor was very patient during the lesson.
