Very clean facility. Pleasant staff.
So far I have only tried the exercise room where all the equipment is so can't comment on anything else. I find there is plenty of equipment available so that I don't have to wait. There is plenty of variety as well. The facility is clean and spacious. No sweaty smells. Also, no chlorine smell from pool infiltrating other parts of building.
Adult swim lessons, are very good.
I appreciate the water fitness classes. However, I attended classes led by a Y instructor out of state who did a much better job of actually instructing: talking about proper form and explaining alternatives to increase the workout or conversely to adjust for different abilities; e.g., cautioning against being on tip toes, which is a natural tendency in water, but rather keeping feet flat to avoid back pain and shin splints. Our instructors tend to simply call out movements, “now Jacky sack,” or “ski” with no explanation.
I love all the activities that are available. The pool and slide are my favorite!

More chair yoga classes
I am so glad I joined the Y. I was hesitant to get a trainer, but so glad I did. I don't have the 'will' to do it by myself, so having a trainer push me helps. Aimee is wonderful! She pushes me, encourages me, and is just so pleasant to be with. The Senior Sneaker classes are good too. I don't do them anymore, but they were good at the beginning of my recovery from back surgery.
I really like the group exercise classes, my favorite is Zumba.

Great instructors and good with older folks like me
I participate in the LIFE class and love our Trainor, Lisa Gill. She makes the class fun and challenges us. The front desk staff are very nice and always helpful. I recently registered for Lisa's small group TRX class and love it.
