Programs are available for people of all ages.
We were in the parent/child class with Carrington as the instructor. She does a fantastic job!
In swim class, I like that the trainers take time to address each child individually. I also like the fact that If your child is uncomfortable with the water or a specific activity, they encourage them to do other activities in the water before re-introducing that specific activity to them.
Lastly, I like that the trainers explain to the parent/grand-parent immediately after class, your child's progress.
Staff is fantastic! Pool is warm. Love that the rec pool is a great temperature for everyone, has shallow portion for children and deeper parts for adult activities. Those wishing to do laps have a separate pool, so can concentrate on their workout and not worrying about being in the way of others. Locker rooms are kept very clean.
I get a really good workout in the L.I.F.E. and chair one classes. The instructors are very engaging.

Love everything about the Y, but come on, bring back the towels for the pool! Covid is over. There’s no reason why this service can’t be restored.

I love the exercise classes in the pool with Joy. I feel better, my balance is better, and I have even made some friends.

Frankly, you're just the best facility in Indy! You have indoor and outdoor swimming pools, exercise classes, and a room full of all sorts of exercise equipment, basketball courts and things I don't even know about. I'm proud to be a member.
