As with any service that’s related to weather and community demand, it makes sense to avoid tense situations where the generator and hear are running low, but even in prolonged power outages we’ve been impressed with the delivery response times.

We have been customers for 16 years. We have never used another company for our propane. Everyone is kind and helpful. They care about their customers. They always come out when they say they will. I just wish every company could offer this excellent customer service to their customers.
Prompt and easy
I really appreciated the delivery person taking some time during the fuel delivery to explain more about how my propane tank works (it was here when I bought my house). He told me that the company has ordered an attachment that will be put on tanks so Virginia Propane will know when the tanks are getting low and it's time for another delivery. I think that is a great idea.
I was able to get delivery the same day. I just hoped that I will receive a text before they come since I have to rush home even though it’s not needed. The service guy was friendly to help me turn on our pilot light.
Ginny worked with us to send us a verification of ownership form and took several phone calls to answer questions . The man who came to check the in-ground tank found a small leak & took a lot of time to check out all the propane sites at the house .
As a new customer, who owns their own underground 500 gal tank. Setting up a new account, talking to various office people and a manger, everything was approved. Being an underground had to have inspections and test. All passed. Then recently filled.
