The teachers: Tianne and Janet in particular but I would also like to see Jessica have a more regular class. She has been excellent subbing.

A bit of personal attention from the instructors e.g. Asking if anyone has a place of pain or injury prior to starting, pointing out modifications for those injuries like "If you are one of the people who told me you're having issues with your wrists today you can modify the pose by....."
Even taking 2 sentences to tell about their approach to yoga or the focus for the session. Anything really that lets us know that they're interested in connecting personally wth us. Both of the sessions I've done so far were devoid of that. The instructors both launched into the sessions without even introducing themselves.
Yoga advisors are welcoming and friendly. It was my mom's first kundulini and they gave her the class for free! We had a great experience. Gary was fantastic, offering options for different levels of ability which made it less intimidating for my mom. Great music too!

First of all, the friendliness and helpfulness at the front desk is amazing. My first class back was with Elana's substitute -ZOE. I LOVED her class. It was unusual and delightful. Zoe incorporated the fact that we are 99.9% SPACE-very little matter and so while we were doing Vipassana she spoke about space in our body as she moved through the body parts.. Also, there was NO MUSIC which I also loved as a change- She wanted us to really listen to ourselves, to our breath.

I went and checked out the competition, and I just didn't like the feel of the place AT ALL.

Beautiful setting. Calm and peaceful. Staff approachable and generally friendly. Sometimes a bit "corporate" in feel, with all the deals and challenges. I would prefer a more simple and straightforward membership process.
