The studio has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and I really, really appreciate that the studio provides quality mats free of charge. This Granville Island spot is my favourite out of all the Semperviva locations -- the natural light is amazing and it's so peaceful being by the water. Sometimes the instructor will crack open a door and there's a lovely breeze that comes in.

While I do not like the layout of this studio as much as the City studio, I do like some of the instructors that regularly teach here. I realize they move around but their schedule at Sun center work best for me.
I also wish to comment that the following teachers are really knowledgeable and really encourage individuals to challenge themselves through class and able to explain how each muscle is utilized and hand/joint placements to prevent injury:

Studio layout, flooring material and ventilation. Sun studio is very cramped and often creates a stampede-like situation with people trying to get out/into class.
I love the variation of teachers and the class atmosphere. I wish there was a 12 pm hatha class for those who can make it on a lunch break

Have the washroom be a little more neat. It is also tough because there is only one stall for both men and women together at this location.
The space has become far too crowded. The toilets are inside the studio instead of outside the studio which can be very inconvenient. The lockers are open and someone stole my sunglasses.
The teachers and staff are wonderful.
I absolutely loved the setting - seeing the water with the city beyond was so beautiful and in a way it felt like I was disconnecting from my busy life in the city and only seeing the calm beauty of it from the outside. The instructor was very helpful and made sure everyone knew what was happening. Overall, it was an awesome experience and I'll definitely be back!
more clearer rules around passes
the ambience can be worked on. from murals or art on the walls to essential oil burning on a heater. real candles and more of it. in quieter classes if the team can encoruage practioners to come closer for a more intimate feel as opposed to spread out in each corner of the room. just my 2 cents.
Please lower the temperature in the studio rather than increase it during class. Those of us in our 50s can feel overwhelmed with the heat during hot flushes. Thanks
I very much enjoyed attending the Kundalini Training and be present in what felt like a primal beat of the heart. the classes were on time and it was a comfortable setting with lots of room. the location was easy to access.

They think about every aspect of the experience, not just the class. There are high quality mats and equipment, unique, down to earth instructors, incense, natural light. Basicay every element of the experience is soothing and that’s exactly what I look for in yoga.
Person beside me had very poor hygiene, several people came in late to class. Both very distracting.
I'm enjoying Zander's class at City because it's not crowded, and he's an excellent teacher whose classes are more traditional (which I like!).
Needed more bathroom. A bit too crowded.
I adore the view (as a highly distracted yoga student ha) & the sea centre location can’t be beat. Super welcoming environment & the hatha class at 930am & the instructor style was exactly what I was looking for.
