As I mentioned in the last survey. It's not that complicated. Great staff, great locations (for me anyways) The next location could include a tea /coffee/juice bar(which I can help you set up) :) You really don't need to do these surveys. I feel it takes away from the hipness of Modo...Eg you don't need to advertise, people just know. I will be placing Modo intro pass cards at the next staff meeting as our topic is wellness. Namaste. Did I mention the staff is great

Everything is so crisp about this studio as far as the upkeep, decor, design, amenities, teachers, community etc.
I like the atmosphere. I don’t feel pressured to keep up with the instructor if I’m not able. It is also a place where I can leave life at the door and focus on what my body/mind needs for the next hour.

I just took Phil's hot flow class for the first time in a long time and I have to say it was so refreshing. He has the ability to make a class challenging within a mindful context. Some of the younger teachers - even when presenting very similar sequences, and sometimes even when invoking Phil - the way they speak about the sequence and its difficulty has a tone of grasping. Grasping for an ideal form, for a number of repetitions, for a length of time in a hold. For something external. The other day a teacher said "Phil would make us do 5 more of these, so let's go!" After today I would say, Phil would invite us to mindfully consider the challenge of continuing this sequence, given our intention for the day. I might end up with the same number of reps/length of hold/challenge of form, but it feels completely different. If I wanted boot camp style exercise, I'd go to a regular gym. I choose to come to the Modo Sangha, where breath and intention keep me mindful in my practice. --Name removed

The quality of classes, the convenience of location, the time range, the variety of classes. I wish music was with no lyrics as the lyrics often prevents from hearing the teacher and focusing on practice.
