I've only attended class at Waverley once thus far (Donald is where I usually go) and it was a fabulous experience. I had the opportunity to attend Hatha+restorative led by Lise with Lyanna assisting followed by Modo led by Lyanna.
Lise' Hatha class was very effective (physically, mentally, and emotionally) at relieving stress & tension making it a very valuable experience. I especially enjoy Lise' teaching style as she has a very close step-by-step approach with excellent timing which is very grounding and soothing while helping to keep one's mind focused on more spiritual matters/ideas & clear rather than wandering aimlessly.
Lyanna's Modo class was extremely rewarding as she is very hands-on and precise with her instructions while maintaining an excellent balance of timing between intensity and transitions. This was the first time I've been able to complete a Modo class without feeling exhausted and it had many positive effects.
All of the instructors & staff were extremely pleasant to deal and converse with. The studio was spotless and the heated space was very well-calibrated at just the right amount of heat without causing one to sweat too much.
On a personal side-note the neighbourhood where the studio is located is a very calm and quiet part of Winnipeg, apparently, on Friday evenings. I decided to take advantage of this, after the classes, with a slow 4 kilometer walk in order to enjoy the silence having left feeling very energized and in great condition; this felt like an excellent psychological purge. The locale was a terrific bonus or "cherry on top" and I'll be making this a part of my regular Friday routine therefore there's no doubt I'll be back to attend class at this location again.

Modo Yoga In Mpls is a gem of a yoga studio.
Loved the two classes I’ve taken (hot Hatha and barre) I wish there was a St Paul in addition to the uptown location!!!

Friendly, good teachers, large locker room, showers, easy to find a parking spot, cushy yoga studio floor. I've only been to I think about 6 classes but I have left every one of them feeling great. Can't wait to get a membership here.
