I live in San Jose and as a retired person (couple) my wife and I will move to Folsom in 2025. My son-in-law recomended the Blue Ravine shop last year. I came and was treated to the type of great service that I lost a decade ago in San Jose. My prior shop in San Jose retired in 2015. I spent the last ten years dealing with a crushed economic hair style trove of shops.
What do I like :
1) kind and gental. I enjoy the pleseant attitude of the staff. Heads up, clear attention and gental with the comb, brush, and electric razor.( I am bald, so as your staffunderstands bald guys have sensitive skin.) As I said gental.
2) The shop is clean, clean floors, chairs, combs, brushes, and emplyees. At 69 years old I am two to three times the age of the staff. I enjoy the staffs mature approach. They talk, listen and pay attenion.
I am sure that your shop would agree that all the above qualities are a must; however, that list is far beyond what most people are able to do.

Friendliness. Every employee/Barber makes me feel comfortable. Barbers are really good at producing great haircuts for me. exactly the way I want it. I think that there were 3 times in 10 years that a Barber got it wrong, but for the most part....90% accurate.
Went in for a hair cut today and was greeted promptly. I was cut by Olivia this time, she was very nice and made sure to confirm how I would like my hair cut. I am very pleased with the hair cut i got today and would 100% let Olivia give me my next hair cut.
Dani is the very best stylist! From her upbeat personality and personal care with my son, she helps him look forward to each time getting his hair cut. Her skills are also unmatched she is just the best!
