I love having classes that meet all my needs at 87. All are challenging, welcoming, and lots of fun. The instructors and administrative staff are excellent. I would call the Y a family affaire !!

I like senior exercise classes, Lunch & Learn, and treadmills & bikes.
I am one of many “seniors” that workout and play cards at The Lakewood Ranch location.
Our groups have grown tremendously and until this spring we had a staff person mostly dedicated to arranging speakers, lunches, parties, etc.
She is badly missed.
There are so many activities for young adults and families but not so many for seniors. - not necessarily “old” but needing more programs with us in mind. Gentle Yoga, 30 minutes of balance and/or stretching.
Consider that we are also donating our share in fundraising. Thank you.

Great equipment

Wide variety of great group exercise classes that allow members to choose the times that they prefer to exercise. Fun, friendly expert instructors that incorporate and engage members in having a good time while they sweat in their energetic classes. Instructors are always available to answer questions, provide modifications to exercise routines or to just have a friendly chat after class.
