Combo program is wonderful for kiddos who are enthusiastic about sports, but enjoy an afternoon of adventure too!

My child LOVES camp!

My son loves going to camp everyday. Stacie, the camp director, has been a wonderful resource - from making sure he is in a group that fits his needs to just simply making us comfortable through open communication. I also think it is great that swim lessons are included because that is an area of weakness for my son.

I love that you keep the kids active all day, there are no screens, and they come home TIRED! Also wonderful that you provide swim lessons and opportunities for the kids to swim throughout the week.

I like the variety of activities that my child participates in each day at summer camp. Also, the values that are taught; responsibility, respect, etc. It makes my child's day when he gets to help in something or when he's recognized by a counselor for good deeds. I think the summer camp program overall is well-rounded.

They keep the kids really active with lots of outside play and music and games and free play time as well. They also help children learn independence and following directions but they offer support and help when needed.
My daughter has grown so much from just being in camp 2 weeks! She’s more independent and wants to manage her own things as much as possible, and she’s not yet 5 years old!! This camp definitely gets young children ready for school and beyond.

The summer camp is really awesome. My little one enjoys going each and every day and has an awesome time.

I love that it’s a WHOLE day - as a single mother I need that to get to/from work and work 8 hours (a lot of summer camps are only half days!)
I love that they learn all kinds of outdoor activities like hiking and archery!

I love that they learn about different sports/games

I love that they teach the kids how to swim (all kids should learn this!)

The camp instructors are always super nice

I love how easy it is to sign up for a week at a time online.

Easy drop off and pickup, my kids are having a blast. Concern: I was worried to not see more masking on the kids playing indoors in the video that I saw. Some were not actively engaged in exercise at the time. Also, my sons mask broke one day, I forgot to send him a back up which is my fault. But I was surprised he told me he was not offered a disposable one by staff. Safety and mask wearing is my number one priority for summer camp.

The Y has friendly & high spirited counselors & staff. Also the YMCA is a partner in teaching my child good character, civic duty, and life skills. Plus my child really enjoys all the fun songs, sports, arts, and other activities!

I love the screening and handwashing before camp.

I love the different weekly themes . The engagement of children with social distancing in place as much as can be mainted.

I love the enthusiasm of the counselos.

Amazing camps that have run smoothly in the covid era and given our son (and family) a sense of normalcy in our routine, activity and socialization level.

My son is enjoying the Edge program and the staff, he likes the nerf war days and the paint wars were awesome. I see him more engaged this summer..shout out to Rashi and Sean, they are really connecting with him and this age group.

My son comes home so happy about his day, and I feel like the protocols the camp team has put into place to keep everyone safe during these times are very good and help to put me at ease.

The COVID precautions, the organization, the enthusiasm of the staff, my son comes home happy and exhausted and so glad to have spent time with his friends. Ms. Cheyenne has been so cheerful and helpful in the mornings (as has another individual, I just don’t know his name!). We love the communication and reminders and are very thankful for the YMCA.

I trust the staff, if my child has an issue with other kids bullying him, it is addressed quickly. The program fits within my budget. There is a variety of activities. My child is happy when he comes home.
