Good communication. kids come home dirty and tired, and are having great experiences without technology and screens getting in the way. Especially pleased with the swimming program.

There seemed to be some confusion around the swim test - my swim team kiddo was not allowed out of the shallow end? But I’m thankful when in doubt the staff erred on the side of safety and caution. My kids came home each day happy and tired!

YMCA Midlothian is one of the most well organized organizations and this is why our family enjoys participating in the sports camps and clinics as well as summer programs. My husband and I coach soccer for our son's team and we have everything laid out for us by the Director Becca Wenger through thorough emails and contact in PlayerSpace.

Our boys love the BB guns and archery. The staff is so kind and helpful at drop off and pick up!!

Our daughter has really enjoyed her time thus far at Camp Saponi. She is always happy and eager to share her day when I pick her up.

We like the variety of activities, including swimming, competitive fun, archery and marksmanship, and periods of free play. The counselors are always loved and respected by our children. Although there is a large enrollment, we always know our children feel safe and cared for.

I love all the programs and activities and my boys love the YMCA summer camps!

I mean, can I come?? They swim every day and it's lessons too! Jam packed days of activities, fun, friends, my kid is an absolute ninja and she's having the best summer of her entire life. The counselors are amazing, their energy is the best I love them all. The theme weeks are great.

To sum it up - I picked my daughter up at 540, and I was informed never to do it again. Don't come till 6. #bestsummerever

This camp keeps the kids outside all day and busy! Thanks for letting them be kids.

My grandsons were verbally abused and mentally abused at a different daycare. From October till June (this minth) they refused to even talk about daycare until their friends were talking about the camp and daycare program you have at our local ymca. I have to tell you I truly appreciate all of your staff family. There was an issue with another camper and the councilors took care of it in minutes and they completely resolved the issue and my grandsons we great after that experience. They are.both special needs.. but they both tell me that all of you just make them feel special.. so thank you for the people you put into place for all of the children no matter what their needs are.you are all ready to help . I have been singing you praises to everyone I know.. including the boys Dr's who are now referring their clients to the ymcas in their areas for wonderful understanding and patience, and willingness to do whatever is necessary to make all of the kids feel safe and happy to be there.. the activities you have for camp is just amazing! My boys truly enjoy them all. They have never been as social as they are being now learning all of these new things and playing with all of the new people they meet there. You have blessed me and my family with peace of mind when they are in your care. Thank you a thousand times for everything each of you do to help not just my boys but all of the children to enjoy their time and just be kids..
