Outdoors! Loved archery and slingshots

YMCA runs a great day camp program! Our 6 year old was entertained all summer!!

My daughter stays so active and loves all the staff.

They made friends the very first day

First off, this is the third one of these we've been asked to fill out, so the best thing you can do to improve the camp is to leave people alone. The staff makes the camp fantastic. They are dedicated, enthusiastic, and able to connect to kids effortlessly. They keep parents informed and lead activities that foster new talents. We cannot wait to send our child back next year and likely fill out another three or four of these.

Drop -in and off was wonderful. Counselors were polite, organized and pleasant/happy. Price for weekly camp was affordable.

I like the personable interactions. I feel like my kid isn't just a number otlr another camper. I get daily updates on his behavior and his day to day interactions. I feel very comfortable with my son in their care. I would refer their program to anyone!

Our kid has had the best summer!! They love swimming and playing all day at YMCA with their camp friends and counselors. And YMCA counselors are chosen with early childhood education and resilency in mind, which put us parents at ease.

Kid focused and great staff. I like the emphasis on being outdoors and active. That being said, I have appreciated the caution with the extreme heat this summer.

We love summer camp! Plenty of activities, swimming lessons and open swimming, and always something new to try.

I LOVE the outdoor time and variety of activities. I was told by parents of former campers that my kid would come home sweaty, tired and dirty which is EXACTLY how summer camp should be! It’s usually pulling teeth to get my kid to tell me anything about his day, and he always has something to tell me as soon as he gets in the car. When his grandma asked him what he liked about camp he said “there’s too much to even say” as a parent, I love the direct kid to car service!

There is such an Amazing variety of activities to do at Camp Saponi. Our son tells us every day of the different fun day he had.

Keeps the kids busy and having fun

My child loves swimming ever day, the weekly themes, and games. My spouse and I like the full time day camp schedule, easy pick up and drop off and YMCA staff enthusiasm amd positive reinforcement.

The kids enjoy every every aspect.

I like the variety of activities including shooting BB gun and archery. My daughter would never try that at another camp. Plus I like the leadership stuff they have her do.

Kids stay engaged, they want to go everyday. The variety of experiences is great! We especially like that kids get swimming lessons daily.

The staff is uniformly excellent and provides a fantastic experience for our six-year-old son. He has enough activities in the day to feel excited to go without so many that he can't get into a game before they are onto the next. It's a terrific program and we look forward to having him there many years to come.
