I like the swim exercise class on Tue and Thursdays. The workout is good for my body.

The staff and the members at the Melrose YMCA are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. The camaraderie of the entire Team is heartwarming and is a tribute to a well-run organization.
I like the Y because there are a variety of classes offered each day, and because I have the option to attend other facilities.
Also, I am able to gear my activities to my fitness level. I don’t feel pressure to keep up with others.

Flexibility. Many options for the Metro North area and we are in close proximity of all of them. Friendly and accommodating staff.
The Spin classes are great and the instructors are very supportive and fun. Kudos to Lisa V, Lisa T W, Melinda and Stephanie.

I love YMCA in Melrose however wishing that the top notch teachers would be teaching at the reasonable time (not at 6am) but any morning after 8:30am. We have Stephanie, Veronica, Suzie, Heather. All of them are the most talented teachers so why none of them have prime time schedule spots? Just a wish that I've heard from others as well.

Friendly Staff that keep the equipment clean. The equipment I use at the Y is essential to relieve my bad back.

Our instructor Fay makes sure she knows each persons strengths and weaknesses and adjusts her routine to get the best from everyone. Her exercise class is effective, safe and fun.
Also, all the workers at the Y are wonderful and help this lady all the time.
